The Ocean City Primary School Third Grade Literature Club gathered after school on Tuesday, October 6, for their first meeting of the 2026-27 school year.

Led by teacher Peg Dunner, students were excited to dive into the well-loved chapter book, The Worst Best School Year Ever, by Barbara Robinson. All who attended were gifted a hand-stitched bookmark kindly provided by F&V member Carla Heist and the Jersey Cape Atlantic Chapter of The Embroiderer’s Guild of America.  The club will meet bi-weekly this month, and again in April, to read and discuss a variety of children’s literature selections.

The F&V’s are proud sponsors of the Literature Club and provide books and a celebration for the students each year.
