Anica Rissi engaged 5th and 7th graders at the Intermediate School in a “spooky” writing workshop on October 6th and 7th. The annual event is sponsored by the F & V. Anica is the published author of books for children of all ages, including teens. She involves the students by using their ideas and encouraging those who would like to share their writing with the group. When the workshop’s time came to an end, the students kept writing! That’s how you know the workshop was a success! We are looking forward to next fall.
