Holiday Luncheon

With heartfelt appreciation, the Friends and Volunteers of the Ocean City Free Public Library thank the Board of Directors for Singingthe fun-filled Holiday Luncheon. The luncheon provided a welcomed respite from the sometimes frenetic preparation for the holidays. Singing, laughing, and making memories was truly a gift!

This year we were grateful for the camaraderie, the fun, and the celebration of Frances Keenan’s FrancesBirthday100th birthday—the cake, the birthday candles, a proclamation from Ocean City read by Mayor Gillian, and a resolution from the Board of Directors of the Ocean City Free Public Library! We’re all wishing we live as long, as lively, and as healthy as Frances!

chrisThe Friends and Volunteers are deeply saddened by the untimely passing of our director, Chris Maloney. He was always looking to improve the library’s accessibility to the community. Chris was the library’s greatest asset and he will be greatly missed.
