The Friends and Volunteers sponsored a Writing Workshop for students at the Ocean City Intermediate School. Speaker, Anica Rissi, offered writing tips to students; having them write a story with her as well as with a partner. She spoke of ways to get ideas, how to revise writing and stressed the need to write what you know and love.

The students wanted to spend more time with the speaker. They wanted to know where to buy her books and even wanted her autograph.
