The Friends and Volunteers of the OCFPL supported the local school district’s Raider Ready program by providing books that were distributed during the January 14, 2020 session. The program focuses on preparing incoming students for school. This session highlighted reading and social/emotional learning. Led by reading specialists and pre-school teachers, children and parents interacted with the books in various ways during the event. The Friends and Volunteers are delighted to support the Raider Ready program and share the joy of reading with our youngest Ocean City residents.
