At times, it seems the only and often overused word to describe a sunny day is gorgeous. It was, however, such a day this past Saturda
y. The Ocean City Spring Block Party was spared the high winds and cold temperatures of the previous days and so the beautiful weather was a great backdrop for the Friends and Volunteers of the Ocean City Free Public Library book sale. Patrons perused and purchased 200 of the almost new books, CDs, and DVDs. An added benefit of the sun was the opportunity for discussion about and reactions between/among the patrons and F&Vs to some of the books.
The weather may have helped make Saturday a great Block Party day, but it was an even greater day for all those discussers, readers, and purchasers.
