Best selling author, Pam Jenoff, was the keynote speaker at the F & V’s annual fall luncheon. She spoke in a conversational style with wit, humor, and honesty, relaying her personal stories and her writing processes while enchanting those in attendance.

The Friends and Volunteers sponsored a writing workshop at the Intermediate School. Author, Anica Mrose Rissi, enjoyed talking with students about books and writing. Her interactive program exposed them to ways to become better writers. This is one of the activities the F & V does to encourage literacy in our community.
