Lisa Scottoline was the featured author at the annual author luncheon sponsored by the Ocean City Free Public Library Board and the Friends and Volunteers. The sold out event was held at the Flanders Hotel. Lisa spoke about her motivations for writing and entertained everyone with her wit and storytelling. She also provided attendees with a signed copy of her most recent book, The Truth About the Delvins.

As in years past, the Friends and Volunteers are helping to start the school year right for the Ocean City Primary School kindergarten students! On September 6th, each kindergartener was given a bag filled with items to encourage a love of reading, writing and drawing. This is just one of many projects the Friends and Volunteers are proud to provide to our community to foster and support literacy.
