The Friends and Volunteers enjoyed a dinner gathering hosted by the Ocean City Public Library. All looked back over a successful year of community service. Friendships have been forged through the hard work and planning of the many programs sponsored by the organization.

Many hours are spent preparing for each book sale. Members sort and prepare the donated and discarded books for many weeks before each sale. The Friends and Volunteers along with the help of volunteers from the American Legion and the high school National Honor Society set up the sale in the atrium of the community center for the two day sale. The book sales are very popular and proceeds from the event support the many programs sponsored by the F & V.
