Theresa

Author Theresa A. Tull

Guest Author—Theresa Anne Tull—History Alive!
What inspires someone more than another speaking through experience with wit and inspiration? Spellbindingly, Theresa Anne Tull shared details of her journey from Runnemede, New Jersey, to her duties in the Foreign Service, and to her retirement—a time to spend with her siblings and her 5 (foster) grandchildren.

Irony was not lost on the attendees as Theresa told her audience how reading a Good Housekeeping magazine piqued her interest in pursuing a career in the Foreign Service. Not without overcoming several challenges, Theresa achieved her goal. For many, Theresa’s presentation made a difficult time in our history palpable. One aha moment was Theresa’s assertion of the danger of Foreign Service work. We give thanks to Theresa and all those who serve this country.

Those who attended the Tea were unanimous in their appreciation and praise for the opportunity to vicariously share Theresa’s experiences. Theresa’s mother told her, “You can do anything, if you work hard.” Surely, Theresa heeded her mother’s words.
