This month the display case features items to promote this year’s OC Reads selection, West With Giraffes, written by Lynda Rutledge. The author will be in Ocean City on Saturday, October 18th at 2:00 PM in the high school auditorium to give a talk, have a Q & A and sign books.

As in years past, the F & Vs are helping to start the school year off right for the Ocean City Primary School kindergarten students. On September 4th, each kindergartener will be given a bag filled with items to encourage a love of reading, writing and drawing. This is just one of many projects the F & Vs are proud to provide for our community to foster and support literacy.
