Story Walk Grand Opening

On September 23, 2022, Lake Memorial Park was the site of the grand opening event for the new Story Walk prepared by the staff of the Ocean City Free Public Library and City Workers. The park, located at 407 Wesley Avenue, allows visitors to enjoy a story book as they experience the park. The Friends and Volunteers of the OCFPL provided the funding for the stands and display platforms used to place the book pages around the park for the children and their families to enjoy.

August Book Sale

The Friends and Volunteers held another successful book sale. The efforts of all members contributed to the success. Community members and visitors enjoyed browsing the many offerings. The funds earned will be used to support programming and promote literacy in the schools and the Ocean City community.
