As in past years, the Friends & Volunteers are helping to start the year off right for Ocean City Primary School students. On September 5th, each kindergartner will be given a bag to encourage the love of reading, writing, and drawing. This is just one of the many projects the Friends & Volunteers provide for our community to foster and support literacy.

Participants preparing bags for the kindergartners were F & Vmembers Lois Denner, Betty Gillen, Robin Miller, Kathy Owens, Linda Robie, Cathy Shilling, and Kathleen Woodring.

The final book sale of the summer was a huge success. Thanks to all of the hard work of our members and volunteers many smiles were displayed by all in attendance.
