Author’s High Tea

The Friends and Volunteers and the Ocean City Free Public Library are delighted to sponsor this year’s Author High Tea for the community. The event will be held on April 30th at the Flanders Hotel and feature local author Vincent Malfitano. Below, please find answers to some frequently asked questions.

How do I get a ticket?
Tickets will be sold ONLINE ONLY at https://oceancity.bibliocommons.com/v2/events. The link to purchase tickets will go live March 30th at 6:00 PM. This will link you to a third-party ticket seller, Zeffy. Please follow these steps to purchase tickets:

  1. Click on the April 30th calendar event for Author’s High Tea.
  2. Select the number of tickets (1 – 10) from the pull-down window.
  3. Complete your information – name, telephone number, email address, payment method and any dietary restrictions.
  4. If you prefer not to make an additional donation to Zeffy, zero out the donation box.
  5. Once you have purchased your tickets you will be sent a receipt and ticket download which can be printed for event day entry.

How many tickets may one person purchase?
One individual may purchase up to 10 tickets.

How do I pay for tickets?
Payment using the ONLINE system is by credit card only. Please be aware that Zeffy, a non-profit organization providing ticket services for non-profit organizations, requests  donations from ticket buyers. If you do not wish to donate to Zeffy, please make sure before you pay that you zero out the donation box. There will be no refunds for any donations made.

Will I have an assigned table?
The tea is open seating unless you purchase a table of 10. For tables of 10, the ticket purchaser will receive an email from the F&V, fvoc@oceancitylibrary.org, with the table assignment. We ask that the purchaser inform the individuals of the table number assignment to avoid confusion on the day of the event.
